PARKFIELD BOULEVARD PARK (GLENLEE PARK)

Public BBQ

Parkfield Boulevard Park delivers an impressive spread of facilities that make it a standout destination for families across the region. The playground commands attention with its enormous slide tower and double flying fox, complemented by in-ground trampolines and a ninja course that keeps children of all ages thoroughly engaged. The rubbery surface provides peace of mind for parents of younger visitors. Two dedicated picnic areas feature electric barbecues with both undercover and open-air seating options, whilst the amenities extend to a small toilet block, half basketball court, and footy goals on the grassed area. The sheer size of the park means crowds disperse easily, even during busy birthday parties. However, the location isn't without its drawbacks. Some visitors have reported rats moving between the bushes, though council has responded with traps. The toilets have also proven unreliable, with occasional breakdowns reported. Despite these issues, the park's extensive features and safe play surfaces have earned it a reputation as the best recreational space in the area, with ample parking making access straightforward for families.
